SOFT TECHNIQUES

A set of massage procedures and touches is highly effective in solving pain in the cervical spine, lower back, numbness in the fingers, hands, feet and migraines. The main goal is to relax and restore the function of soft tissues that are disproportionately stressed. Soft tissues include fascia (the sheaths surrounding muscles and organs), tendons, and connective tissue. These tissues contain a high proportion of water, collagen and hyaluronic acid. They allow muscles and organs to move, slide against each other, and have the ability to stretch and enlarge.

Disruption of the activity of soft tissues can occur as a result of:

    1. Blockage of spinal nerves due to a damaged intervertebral disc.
    2. Injuries, such as immobilization of the limb in a cast (collagen builds up in the subcutaneous tissue and forms a dense mesh instead of a flexible web, which prevents movement in the joint).
    3. Long-term incorrect posture, including sedentary work without subsequent compensatory exercises after work.

This technique can be painful, and the pain may or may not last for several days after the massage.
